I am Nor Aishah binti Alli known as Aishah, an artist and educator whose journey in the world of art is deeply intertwined with my passion for cultural storytelling, emotional depth, and creative expression. Born and raised in the culturally rich city of Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia, I now base my work in Kuala Lumpur, where I have spent nearly a decade refining my craft and inspiring others through the transformative power of art.

With a mastery of oil painting, I use my art to express emotions and ideas that resonate on a universal level. My current artistic focus is on my ocean wave series in oil painting. As a collection that captures the boundless energy, power, and beauty of the ocean. The ocean is an ever-present source of inspiration for me, symbolizing life's constant ebb and flow, its challenges and transformations. Just as the ocean has an unpredictable nature, so does the creative process so it is both an exploration and a constant reinvention.

Through my ocean wave series, I aim to capture not just the movement and physicality of the waves but their emotional significance. The ocean, with its vastness and depth, speaks to resilience, calm, and renewal. Each brushstroke in this series is a metaphor for navigating the highs and lows of life, an invitation to pause, reflect, and find meaning in nature’s eternal rhythm. I work with textures and layers, often blending colors with my hands to create a visceral, raw quality that speaks directly to the viewer's senses. For me, this tactile connection to the canvas is a way of translating the very energy of the waves onto the painting, giving them life and emotion.
